「ホテル全体が清潔に保たれており、部屋も埃一つありませんでした。 大体のホテルで、水のペットボトルは2本のみ置いてありますが、ここのホテルは6本も置いてありました。 もちろん、歯ブラシ・ドライヤー・シャンプー類もあります。 ホテルとビーチが繋がっており、簡単に行く事ができます。 ビーチにオシャレなBarなどがあり、夜はライトアップされていて綺麗でした。」

「One of few hotels with its almost private beach. Boutique but a little rough around the edges - so what if nothing is perfect - this isn’t Maldives. Great food, really friendly staff. No loud music and respectful guests. They are offering a great product, that’s why guests return. Easy tuktuk to busier area and boats to take you elsewhere. We were genuinely sad to leave. 」

「At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.」

「Large rooms with comfortable bed right on the beach. Easy walking to many tourist shops and many restaurants. Lots of fresh seafood available from these restaurants. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with a smile. The restaurant prepared a seafood grill each night and set tables with candies at the edge of the surf. Breakfast was very good with lots of fruit and an omelette station as well as curry. Can’t go wrong staying here. 」

The property itself is beautiful - a colonial style villa set in lush tropical gardens, with a pool that wraps around the building, but it’s the people who work there that made it one of the most memorable stays ever. The team facilitated lunches, dinners and even a special lunch for visiting family. They always had a smile and a greeting for our 2 year...
