「Fantastic self catering cottage on an outstanding estate.」

「Lovely short break. Brian kept in touch, letting us know when we could arrive early. Great welcome including tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The cottage was warm, clean and welcoming .」

Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. 「Great time enjoyed day's we stayed there not allot to do Just walk enjoying the walks ideal for our age group」

「Very quiet, peaceful place. The cottage is immaculate, very well looked after. Very friendly humans and dogs. A must if you value time away from the madding crowd.....」

「The property had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the evening was very nice. The log burner was cosy after the sun went down. It was only a few minutes drive to the local shop and distillery. That being said,some mould remover and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. shop and distillery.」

「The Shelduck cottage is a excellent base for exploring this scenic part of Scotland. Easy access to the Ferries to Bute/ Tarbert and Dunoon ..Andrew , our host was very helpful and made our stay memorable.We used a wheelchair and his concrete ramp was ideal for entering and leaving this spacious property. Would recommend this quiet location overlooking loch Riddon. 」

「I chose to stay at this property for its advertised ‘seclusion’. I was not disappointed. I woke up to the most amazing scenery every morning, comfortably nestled in a private corner of the Island. The property had everything that a person could need as well as very 」

「From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles. However there is plenty...
