Beautiful house not far from mountains and Queenstown

A group of us stayed at Shimmerlakes for 7 nights for a ski trip. Very modern house with lots of extras and very well equipped to cater to large groups. Super spacious and great location, not far from the mountains and Queenstown.

Tranquility and an unforgettable view

Shimmerlake is a beautiful and spacious property which was perfect for our stay as it suited all the ages of our guests. Extremely clean and well appointed it was more like a prestige hotel. The view from the wrap around balcony was stunning at any hour of the day.

Beautiful property

Beautiful modern property just out of Queenstown. Exactly as pictured. The views were amazing! You definitely need to hire a car if you stay here as it’s about 15 mins drive to the main part of Queenstown. Everyone loved staying here and we hope to visit again!

High quality house

A beautiful property that was perfect for our family ski holiday. Cleaned to a very high standard and fitted out with quality homeware from the Le Creuset casserole to luxury bedding. This home was perfect for our large adult family with plenty of room. The only negative was not knowing that the house has an apartment attached to it with other occupants but I'd still rebook knowing this now.

This is an exceptionally well appointed house with everything we needed. From the welcome and induction (thanks Courtney) to the entire house, to the really well helpful support from the owner (thanks David) Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for quality, security and privacy.

Simply Paradise

My family and I simply loved this property and its the best we have stayed at so far. The house was just incredibly designed, with a style we really enjoyed. Views to die for! There's a lot of tech for very savvy TV, music and lighting. Loved that there was lots of room in the lounge and dining. The bedrooms were super comfortable and we all slept so well. We spent 5 nights here and would easily come again the next time we are in Queenstown. Totally worth the money spent. I also thought the location was not an issue and was very quick to get to Queenstown city when we needed to. Communication with the owner and agent was seamless and easy.

Amazing Place

This is one of the best place I ever stayed in Queenstown. The house has an amazing view over Queenstown lake, picturesque scenary during the day and lovely night time view towards Frankton too. Very spacious home, 5 bedrooms with TV and heat pump in all the bedrooms + large TV by the lounge above fireplace + another separate cinema room which is great to enjoy and watch a movie. The house has everything you need, high quality fittings and kitchenware/diningware that is often hard to find from holiday homes. The house was professionally cleaned with impeccable decorations and furniture. Lots of space for parking, close by Kelvin Heights golf course. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to stay here again :)
