「This is a beautiful place and quite clean. They also have a cache of masks, snorkel, chairs and other beach items which is helpful. We used this cottage as base camp to visit Volcanoes NP. It is a good option if you have a rental car. They don't call it the "Big Island" for nothing. There is a lot of windshield time when traveling the area. My only constructive criticism of this property, as well as almost all other VRBOs, is to reduce the unnecessary furniture, bookshelves, and tchotchkes that...

「The house is beautiful, and the location felt perfect for us. We enjoyed relaxing on the second floor balcony (even doing a little astrophotography!), going to the nearby beaches, and taking day trips out to Hilo and the Volcanoes National Park! I couldn't have asked for a better home base. They also had a good stock of cookware, so we were able to cook most of our meals which saved us both money and travel time for food. The bed is comfortable and I slept so great here. Also, it's QUIET! If you want peace, you found it. The shower is hot with strong water pressure.
