"The rooms are small compared to western standards. If you have a clam shell suitcase, know floor space is limited even in a King Superior room. The Bathroom was very clean but there was a significant step up into the bathroom. If you have difficulties with tall steps, there are rooms available without the step into the wetroom/bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They can store Luggage for arrival/departure if you have an early arrival or late departure from Kyoto. Would highly recommend for a reasonable priced hotel in a fantastic location. 6 minute walk to Sanjo underground station and a few stops from Kyoto station on that train line. There are 2 laundry machines with tumble dryers available and accept coins only. "
