At check-in we found the property was not cleaned well. We found hairs, dust, and food crumbs in multiple places and lots of mold on the washer's gasket...all of which we ended up cleaning ourselves. Next, the carpets in both bedrooms were dirty, with dirt accumulation & stains in several areas. Next, there were maintenance issues in the bathrooms. I wish I was at least asked to delay check in, so they could get the carpets cleaned etc. I contacted the manager with videos & pictures of issues, but received NO response for the entirety of our stay. I contacted the host with a list of issues and pictures of dirty carpets. He simply refunded the cleaning fee but chose not to acknowledge or address the dirty carpets or other issues. I never got any real apology. In his last email, the host suggested that next time I should stay at "the Four Seasons because their suites are maintained at a higher standard". Denying, deflecting and making sarcastic comments, especially when faced with pic/vid evidence of problems, is not a good way to do business.
Had I been made aware prior to booking, that the host doesn't have "high standards" or that the management team is irresponsible & irresponsive, I would have booked any other condo in the area.
Other issues: constant noise blasted from shows at adjacent resorts every night, so you can't enjoy a quiet evening out on the lanai. Then more noise every night at 12 AM from supply trucks. The TVs are old and don't have streaming functionality.
