They assisted me in decorating our room and made me feel truly special throughout my stay. Whenever I had any minor issues, they were always there to provide prompt assistance. I highly recommend this resort to any American traveler planning a visit to Zanzibar. It’s an ideal destination for families seeking a special getaway or a romantic retreat for significant others. The amenities are simply outstanding, and the pool is a must try. I also had the opportunity to go diving at Mora, and the diving team was fantastic. They made the experience safe and enjoyable. Before I conclude, I want to highlight the exceptional kitchen staff at the Horizon. Every single one of them, from the waitresses to the servers, was amazing. I can’t recall all their names because it was truly a diverse group. There was Queen, Christopher, Deman, Georgie and many more. "There was nothing which we didn’t like.Very friendly service and breakfast choice was excellent.Had Lunch and Dinner one day and the food was excellent.Even The General Manager made us Feel Very Welcome.Words cannot describe our experience.Would Recommend Maru Maru Hotel to Everyone.🙏🙏🙏"

"This was a beautiful property. The staff was beyond amazing and so accommodating. My fiancée and I wanted to use the hotel to take our engagement photos. We spoke with management to sure it was ok and they allowed us to do so. They were so pleasant about it and some of the staff actually stepped in to help that day of the shoot. Aside from the shoot, they were just great people with such good hearts and wonderful culture. I loved it there! I'll be back."
