「The property has a well equipped kitchen and grill. So we could by fresh fish from the market and enjoy at the house. We had a small issue the curtains and they fixed it immediately!! The beach cabana is such a great addition! It is also equipped with appliances and dishes so we could bring lunch and drinks down to steer in the refrigerator. The property is one of the best places on the island to snore! All around amazing accommodation! 」

「We had a fabulous time in Maui- because how can you not?! That being said, we have stayed at several other resorts across the island, and enjoyed them much more than Honua Kai. The room/unit itself was ok - size was good, and it had a well-stocked kitchen. The unit overall could use a refresh, furniture was worn down, large hole in the couch (as mentioned in other reviews), and overall just seems a little old/rundown. The property manager was very accommodating and her communication was good....

「We absolutely loved this unit. After a 6 hour flight and several more hours waiting for bags, getting groceries and driving from the airport, we couldn’t have asked for a better condo. Traveling with a 7 month old and 10 year old is not always easy and as soon as we opened the door we felt right at home. The unit is spotlessly clean, the beds (king and sofa) were very comfortable, the lanai, ocean view and first floor location were perfect. It’s a good thing the pools closed at 8pm, otherwise...

The rooms have all the comforts of home that made an extended 2-week vacation most comfortable: full kitchen, washer/dryer, housekeeping, and more. 「We had a wonderful time here in Maui. The place was a little dated but worth it for the view. It was nice to wake up every morning and see the ocean. We would stay here again. The only negative would be that the cleaning supplies they used to clean the unit was very strong. Took a bit to air it out.」
