"Scenic river is the only place to stay in Wartburg. Unit #8 is clean inside and looks newly painted with new flooring. The mattresses need updating. The family who runs the inn are friendly. The outside of the inn needs a lot of attention."

"Convenient location, friendly staff, clean. Although non smoking - there are individuals who smoked on other side of building and that smell festered in the non smoking area walkway. Other hotel tenants who arrive were loud and would converse outside of rooms which made it challenging to ignore. "- The pics you can find online are great and what led me to reserve a room. And then I arrived! The room where I slept has a window facing East. The view is the same as the uploaded pic, taken from the back porch. To truly enjoy the landscape, have Mike give you directions to the bottom of the overlook.
