Summary:
House of Meesh is a newly renovated, two-story detached building located in up-and-coming historic Springfield, less than one mile from downtown Jacksonville. The former garage space has been professionally transformed into two standalone studio units (w/separate entrances) — one upstairs (The Loft) and one downstairs (Clubhouse). The building is situated on a large rare double lot in the urban neighborhood, with a pool, jacuzzi, pavilion, fire pit, towering oak trees and tropical landscaping.
The Space:
The upstairs studio unit, House of Meesh: Loft, is a romantic, poolside hideaway, with dramatic floral wallpaper on one wall, and windows with a sweeping view of the property on the other side. Hues of purple, pink and teal give the studio space a rich, romantic feel. Note: Visitors must climb a flight of stairs to access this unit.
With the help of a professional designer, we created the one-of-a-kind studio spaces, meticulously furnishing and appointing the units to include everything a traveler could need.
The property includes a pool, jacuzzi and spacious garden oasis, with lounge areas in the sun or under a pavilion’s shade. On cooler nights, guests are welcome to use the stone paver fire pit. Private, secured parking spaces for both units are available via a back alley and an electronic privacy gate. Both units are monitored with outdoor-only security cameras.
Walk or bike to downtown events like Jacksonville Jaguars games or concerts at Vystar Memorial Arena or Daily’s Place, or hide away in this garden oasis. Swim, soak in the hot tub or simply enjoy wine by the pool after a long workday. A peaceful sanctuary, it’s easy to forget you’re in an urban neighborhood, within walking distance to downtown Jacksonville.
House of Meesh is located at the far back of the property with enough distance to the main house.

The Neighborhood:
House of Meesh is located in historic Springfield, Jacksonville’s hippest up-and-coming urban neighborhood. As the oldest neighborhood in Jacksonville, Springfield still retains much of its historic character and contains some of the best examples of late 19th and early 20th century architecture that the city has to offer.
Springfield, like so many other urban neighborhoods in the United States, fell into a period of decline in the mid 20th century. As the neighborhood is still undergoing revitalization, many of the homes have been beautifully restored, while some still need attention. You may see aspects of the transitional nature such as litter and a few homes in disrepair. However, the neighborhood is a safe, vibrant and active community, with highly engaged residents. For the safety of our guests and their belongings, House of Meesh features off-street, gated parking and outdoor-only security cameras.
Modern day Springfield is arguably one of the most attractive neighborhoods in Jacksonville, due to its beautiful architecture, gridded streets, walkability and bikeability, variety of parks, eclectic nightlife, unique restaurants, proximity to Downtown, abundant social events, and friendly neighbors. National, state, and local media have taken notice and highlighted our dynamic and growing community.
Getting Around:
Springfield is an urban neighborhood, less than one mile from downtown Jacksonville. The neighborhood is the most walkable and bikeable in all of Jacksonville, and you'll see many neighbors driving their golf carts to restaurants, bars and breweries.
