「Charming, clean, comfortable, and peaceful cottage, with a host/hostess who have thought of everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, nice dishes and glasses, an oven and refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, and the living room is a great place to hang out. The location set well back from the road made it possible for me to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the summertime sounds of crickets and cicadas. I can't think of a better place to stay in the Ithaca area with these...

「I will get right to the point. This property was very clean, beautifully decorated, and an amazing location. That being said your rental is attached to the live in property manager by a wall, and on top of a golf course club house. Every morning they ran lawn mowers outside our window waking my 6 month old baby. They would just have it idling which was bizarre to me. Constant noise and traffic from the golf course traffic was annoying . The property manager was the oddest of all. When we met...

「…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in...

「Location was ideal, size was good. I liked the setup of the front door lock and had it been warmer weather, would have loved to use the front porch swing. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. 」

「The view over the lake was spectacular for sunsets and especially full moon! The place was spotless and had everything we needed, with very comfortable furniture. Could use a small step stool to get into and out of the bed, and maybe a small half door across the stairs for safety, especially at night. 」
