「Great little apartment and communication about check in was very clear. It was super clean and comfortable. Didn't realize it was several miles from anything to eat or do, but it was winter so that is really on me for not reading description close enough.」

「On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. 」

「The place is right next to the water - unobstructed view. The 0.7 mile walk to center of Oban was nice in good weather but we got wet several time (expected this for October). Public transportation was hard to find so needed our car. Our room was a little small and cramped, but we could see other larger rooms. Check in and parking was a bit of a hassle. Great “Continental breakfast “ that included meats, cheeses, baked goods and more- well worth the modest cost 」

「The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. 」

「Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. 」

「I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.」

「Our trip to Glencoe House across Hogmanay was superb; our family of four took over Suite 7 (the whole top floor), and we thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights of luxury; we will be sure to return again! 」

「Arbour Guesthouse is a simple place but it's clean and it's a good value (considering that accomodations in Oban are a bit pricy). We regretted though that the "double bed" was only 120 cm and not properly advertised as sub-standard. It would be nice as well to have good curtains (blackout and down to the floor) as up north the sun rises very early in summer.」

「Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. 」

「Our host Michael was charming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The accommodationn was fantastic with spectular views over the loch. The room was big, as was the onsuite, and there were great touches e.g. a cafetiere with coffee, supplied free, each morning. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked abd yummy. We will definitley saty again.」

「Nice, clean, and well insulated. We felt very secure and comfortable. Only complaint is that the WiFi signal was a little weak but we didn’t really mind disconnecting for the night (it was still enough to book our next room and view itineraries etc). 」

「The property is situated a 10 minute drive from the town centre so is well located for any sightseeing that you want to do. The home itself is very spacious, has lots of storage, very comfy beds and cosy lounge room and a large enclosed back yard which was lovely to sit out in and enjoy a drink and our family members two small dogs had a wonderful time exploring in it. Hosts communicated with us well prior to and during our stay to ensure that we had everything that we needed. A lovely touch was...
