「Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot...

「Pretty far out location. Very isolated and that can be good sometimes! Be prepared to take an expensive shuttle boat both ways offered twice a day and if you miss it, it's a $150 boat taxi. Cocktails were great! Restaurant was slow with okay food and relatively expensive, but no other options around. Bastimentos is a cool island, I found more to do on the island closer to Bocas Town. 」

「We loved our stay at this hotel it was very beautiful. We found it a bit tough getting back to our jungle lodge at night. The mountainous terrain was difficult to climb and when we called for shuttles they did not always come quickly. If I knew the terrain I would have tried to book a pricey golf cart for the week. By the time we caught on there were none available and we had to rely on the resort for transport. Not always a great option. 」

「Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und ist schön. Unser Zimmer (Beach Cabana) war in gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich und haben sich sofort um jegliche Anliegen gekümmert. Der Baustellenlärm war etwas störend, hielt sich aber in Grenzen. Das Restaurant ist direkt am Strand, was toll ist. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben」
