Not family friendly at all

This was our first time using Vrbo listing for renting a place to accomodate a weekend trip to Indy for Monster Truck show. While this is very near the stadium that is the only truth in this listing. When we go in the home there was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms and cleaniness was not good. . Tim did have supplys delivered but only after complaining. Our stay was already wasted. We did not get to go to the show. We wasted monry on tickets.

Good neighborhood, decent house. Is a little more rough than the pictures show. One of the upstairs bedrooms was crawling with ants but over all not a bad stay. Host seemed nice but not very timely as we checked in late due to not having check in info until after our check in time. Plenty of parking which was nice

Check in was unnecessary difficult

I had several contacts with the owners beforehand since they didn't provide check in details until after our official check in time. And then when they did they informed me that I could park in the back, which I needed to know before I got there.

Great for groups

This house is soooo spacious, there are so many beds. Queens and twins. The pool table does work, and doesn’t fall like people said they made it so where it won’t fall. The TV works in living room. The backyard is so nice and spacious with a fire pit, we couldn’t use it though bc it’s cold out but in the summer, it would be so fun. The parking area behind the house is big enough for like 4 cars or even more if you wanted to park behind cars. Overall this house is super spacious and fun for groups.

Not as expected

The pictures showed this property to be in better shape than it was. There was holes in the walls, large holes in the floors which could have caused injury. There was blood stains in the bathroom on the floor and the curtains. It was very dirty overall as well. Not enough towels, plates, silverware or cookware for the number of people the house could sleep. The stove was missing all the front knobs. It was not a good stay and we willNot return or recommend.

Not what I expected

Started with a message from the host two weeks prior, host asked me if I’d be willing to check in later than expected and they would let me check out later. I explained we would be Che king prior to the original check out time so that wouldn’t work. Ask if the would provide a small refund for the inconvenience. They said they would get in contact with their cleaning company and get back with me. A few days before the trip I messaged the host asking for an update (2 times no response). The day of the trip I message in the morning that I haven’t heard back from them. I get a message finally, saying that they were waiting for the cleaning company to confirm the property was clean then they would provide the information to get in. After the cleaning crew left the contacted me with the info to get in. They said the cleaning company said the previous people who stayed there put a “small” whole in the wood floor. The whole was slmost the size of a male foot. Come to find out the yard and driveway had garbage all over it. There was a small hole started in the wall downstairs. Another hole in the wall upstairs and one of the paddles on the ping pong paddles where broken. Also the stairs be didn’t have knobs on it and the pot for the coffee pot was missing. There were cobwebs in some places. The neighborhood could have been better but we didn’t care too much about that. The host is not a great communicator and appears to be in it just for the money, not to make the guest happy.

There were holes in the wall, the floor was sticky and dirty, the counters were old and paint chipping, the oven did not have knobs so it was unusable, the door was locked upon arriving but the key was sitting on the window that gave access to all the ro

Not what I was expecting

The pictures of this place looks better then it actually is. We come in for the Marathon. 5 guys in our group the place had tons of room but it was not clean. Towels was in the dryer. Sheets were not clean. No toilet paper and no paper towels. I had to go to the store to pick up common necessity. There was no forks to eat with. No pots to boil water, lucky I packed a pot. Kitchen stove had one knob. Holes in walls sticky floors. Too much other thing to list. We pulled the sofa bed out and there was a dead mouse. This place is basically a frat house. I would not rent here again

Bachelor Party Stay

Perfect spot for a bachelor party with a large group in Indy. Could be a little more clean but overall a great experience for what we needed.

It's a party pad pretty gross to bring kids into

Bedroom set up is great fit us perfectly and location was ok. In a kinda run down neighborhood but the house was so gross and dirty. There seemed to be an over abundance of air fresheners to cover up the party smell. Not enough pots and pans to fry an egg. No coffee filters. Floors were so sticky I think they more smeared the spilled beer from the parties before rather than actually mopping. Turned the kids feet black.

Good for a college group

The property was ok for one night. The cleaning job was not great, there were sticky spots and dried alcohol on the chairs, holes in the wall and very unstable furniture. The house served its purpose for a one night stay and would be perfect for a large group of friends looking for a place to sleep. It is not a house for adult friends to gather together, cook with much supplies or feel comfortable laying around on the furniture.

To start things off wanted to say thanks for allowing my family to rent your home. Pros & Cons.

Pro’s: • Very nice home with lots of room. Restrooms & bedrooms included. • Good location • Great front & back porch, Lots of parking & outside area. • Extra items on hand if you forget yours. • Owner very nice. Con’s: • The POOL TABLE could only be used one time it kept Falling we put it back together 15 plus times. Before we just decided to leave it down on the floor, after it fell when we was all asleep & scared the living crap out of us (one half wasn’t very good). The table was one of the reasons for renting the home. It also fell on my cousin foot & almost broke it. • I never received my check in information, late check in due to that, had to log onto Vrbo and find owners numbers to get it. After someone finally called me back the guy was very nice gave me everything needed, also there when I needed him. • The front door knob was hanging off & barely hanging on. • Key pad batteries low on both doors spent way to much time trying to lock & unlock the doors. • Need more pots & pans sets, Big spoons & knifes & things. • Small hole in the wall (wasn’t bothering anyone but for all the money we paid it shouldn’t been there). • Only 1 TV in the whole house. I would rent again if the owner puts a little money into the home inside & out to make it better for the price asking. Thanks for allowing my family to use your home from Louisville, KY.
