「The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made clear when booking. We both slept in the one bed which was fine. Extra charges should be mAde clear on booking and the fact it only has one bedroom was disappointing. Otherwise nice place if somewhat...

「Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. 」

「We had a fabulous family stay over Christmas and New Year. Plenty of space to spread out for the whole family. Comfortable beds, clean and warm house with everything you need in a beautiful setting. Lots of wildlife in the grounds. Easy access to Edinburgh and the surrounding area. We’d happily return!」

「Beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. Not far from Edinburgh by car or you can get the train.」

「LOVED IT! We loved everything about our stay at 1 Bellevue Terrace. The location is great, quiet and residential, yet just a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. The apartment is beautiful, just like a place that a character from a Hallmark movie would live in! And a Christmas tree! What a nice touch! The owners were 100% responsive, before, during, and after our stay. Stay here, you will love it as much as we did!」

「Comfortable cottage with roaring wood stove. We were surprised by a morning of snow which added to the beauty. Kim, our host was the best, helping us when needed, even suppling candles at last minute when a predicted windstorm threatened power outage which luckily never came. 」

「The rooms all have large beautiful windows and we appreciated all the day light. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood with many shops and dining options. The apartment had a well stocked kitchen and there is a food market right next to the building which was so convenient. We were in the apartment for 9 days during the Fringe which was wonderful. 」

「Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. 「Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . 「到着時予約が見つけられなかったスタッフが何も言わずににいなくなったのはがっかり。その後別のスタッフがすぐに確認しチェックインできたので良しとしよう。駅やレンタカーまでの近い道は少し人通りが少ないので、遅い時間は遠回りになるがメインの通りを使うほうが良いかも。フローリングの部屋はスーツケース2個を開いてもゆったり広い。冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、IHコンロ、食洗機、電気ポット完備のキッチン付だが、食事スペースが壁ぎわのデスクのみ。小さくてもダイニングテーブルらしいものがあると使い勝手が良いと思う。」

「2泊だけでしたが、ミニキッチンやカトラリー、電子レンジなどはあって良かったです。セインズメリーは一軒ありましたが、買い物は若干不便を感じました。旧市街だけの予定ならば選択肢になると思います。」
