"Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019 Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet. The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy. The bathroom is large with a full sized bath and a separate shower cubicle that was good. Lights over the vanity unit could be brighter as it was a bit dark to see one’s face makeup,...

"Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"The hotel is under renovation. The staff can be accommodating but some do not take the time to assist the English speakers. no wifi. We were on the 25th floor.Overlooking the bund. Nice room but needs updating. Carpet is still filthy but does not smell awful. Comfort room is clean and service is ok when they understand you. If not...they just won't lift a finger. Funny but when the fuse got busted I reported it at once. Service came quick but a plumber was sent instead. It was good he called the...
