「This was my second time using this property and whilst the first time was excellent this time wasn’t as good. The main problem was that we were ignored at breakfast and when we did get there attention and ordered they forgot to bring it to us.Also the toilet wouldn’t flush, the basin tap was loose on arrival and it took 2 days to get sorted.」

「Stayed for a large family birthday celebration. Allocated private room for the event. Staff very friendly, country side location with large grounds. Overall food was very good (evening meal and breakfast) A great time was had by all.」

「Hotel was very ornate and a beautiful setting for a wedding. A bit dated and worn in areas but that makes it charming. Too warm in the bedroom and couldn’t turn the bathroom radiator off which provided all the heat. Bed was comfy. Carpets needed to be cleaned. Gym had very basic and minimal equipment and floors were dirty and looked to have not been cleaned for while. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. 」

「Value for money. Yes it’s on the A1 but don’t let that bother you. Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. The property is in a convenient position to get to many places. Such as the Castle, Holy island, Seahouses and Berwick on Tweed. Good is excellent and the staff are great and friendly. Thanks 」

「Our host, Mark, was fabulous. Mark provided us with detailed check in information in advance of our stay and great tips on how we could make the most of our stay in Bamburgh. 「Had a lovely, pleasant stay at Marshall Meadows Manor House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bedroom was a good size and very clean albeit for a few cobwebs in the corners but a very small criticism. Amazing scenery around and so close to local amenities in Berwick. The breakfast that was included with the room was delicious and a good variety of food to choose from. Get a table next to a window if you can for lovely views of the coast with your breakfast. 「Great place to stay, with lots of character, especially maritime related. Staff were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with our bathroom and the staff attended to our needs immediately. Fabulous food, the standard and quality was high end at affordable prices. Would definitely visit Seahouses again, and stay at The Olde Ship Inn. Would recommend to others.」

「出張で宿泊しました。電車の駅からは歩くと30分くらいかかりますが景色は綺麗です。ホテルはビーチから近く、周辺の散歩を楽しみました。部屋ですが、壁が薄く隣の部屋のテレビの音やいびきがはっきり聞こえるのが難点です。」

「Myself and other family members had the great pleasure of staying at Eshott Hall for a couple of nights. While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely, the food was excellent and the setting impressive. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again. 」

「If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced.」
