This is a very nice place for a short stay in Hobart. Located on the transition point from CBD to residential, it's a 10-min walk into downtown, and the Elizabeth St restaurant strip is a short, easy walk, just a couple of small blocks away. Access into the property takes 3 seconds, using a touchpad and 4-digit code. Both QS were very comfy, with light ?woollen doonas on top, but no top flat sheet to fold over. It was nice to have ample room to stow all of our clothing in the generous wardrobes. There were extra blankets available. The physically-challenged may need to take extra care descending from the bedrooms via the narrow staircase with shallow steps. There was ample heating both upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, although you need to know to manually select 'Micro' on the microwave/convection oven to get it to re-heat drinks etc. We eventually figured it out after thinking it didn't work at all. The bathroom and laundry were both excellent, with plenty of hot water at good pressure. There were plenty of good-quality towels, hand-towels, shower mats and facewashers etc. Weekday mornings see a small but noticeable increase in traffic noise just outside the building, but nothing overly annoying. There is free parking out the front of the property 8 am - 6 pm, with a 1-hour limit on the near-side, and a 2-hr limit on the other side of the road, meaning you'll need to move your car by either 9 or 10 am in the mornings, depending on where you park.
