Small yet cozy, right on the bay. Fun to have the tide go out and walk out onto the sandbars. We visited the last week of March, and the weather was not cooperative; extremely gusty, windy and rainy, which is probably typical. The complex is a bit dated; the unit itself was tidy and clean but had a bit of a musty smell and could use new carpeting and adult-sized toilets. Feral cats are everywhere, but harmless. The owners were extremely communicative and offered any assistance if needed. Coming from Upstate New York, we were unimpressed with HHI, its surroundings, and the traffic, but not the rental property itself. We will stick to Myrtle Beach area.
