It started out great as the owner allowed us early check in at noon. However, when I pulled out the sofa bed ,as I would be sleeping there, it was full of crumbs ,hair ,and nail clippings. And the unit has no vacuum, and no broom closet. Fortunately I had access to one. The oven has no functioning exhaust ,so with such a large kitchen you can hardly cook without the front and balcony doors open. There is very little storage and no place to put your suitcases. Master closet is half filled with miscellaneous bedding. The owner has temperature controls in the unit so you cannot set the temperature as you wish. When we got in it was hot and stuffy, and didn’t cool down until the sundown. There were 3 electric plugs that didn’t work. Most significantly was the GFI in the kitchen and bathroom, that could not be reset. For the very high cleaning fee one would expect that there the property would be both cleaned and serviced. And now about the damage deposit that is actually an insurance policy not returned to the renter . Evolve does this to all guests ,and after calling Evolve, they advised me they aren’t allowed to call it an insurance policy… but it is one. I expect for the cost of the insurance policy “ winky face” and cleaning fee, that the owners would be alerted to any damage or cleaning issues prior to the each new guest arrival. Overall, this unit gives the appearance that it is fully updated, but when you are there you realize it is not.
