"Good: Central location, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen (inc Nespresso, hobs, big fr/freezer and microwave), good shower. Very spacious. Bad: Lots of stairs (60+) to third floor (some apartments on 2nd floor) and no lift. Patchy/slow Wi-Fi, so Netflix wouldn't really work on TV and struggled to stream content on laptop. A very small table, considering the huge area of unused space in apartment - couldn't really work on it. No mugs, only small cups (small thing but annoying for me lol). It...

"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

"The view was great from the top floor with even a small little balcony! It was a great experience. Only thing to look out for, this is 6 floors up a steep staircase with no elevators. I only had carry-on size baggage, and I don't have issues lugging bags up stairs. If you do, I don't recommend. Otherwise, loved it!"

"This is a regular stop for us when visiting Dusseldorf. We stay in the executive suites usually. Very clean and comfortable and worth the little bit extra if you can afford it. Very impressed with our server in the restaurant as he remembered us, where we were from, and what we enjoyed last visit."

"The location was excellent—just a few minutes' walk from the central train station, the Kölner Dom, and the historic train center, making it incredibly convenient. My room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the spa area, which added a relaxing touch to my stay. One of the highlights was the impressive breakfast spread—it included a wide selection of meats, cheeses, breads, a full English breakfast, pastries, coffee, juices, and more. While I personally wouldn’t have paid the ~18 euros for it as a petite eater, it was included at no extra cost through my Hotels.com booking. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would certainly stay here again! "

"This is a beautiful and quaint property facing the river. I stayed one night in a double room. Was on the corner with view of the river on one side and the promenade in the other. The staff were lovely. They gave me wonderful recommendations and held on to my bag after checkout as my train did not depart until 5pm and I wanted to get some more sightseeing in before leaving. The room was spotless and the decor is very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the strong shower head pressure. Would absolutely stay here again!!"
