My family and I (2 adults and 2 kids under 6) just returned from our stay at the cabin. We had a lovely time. The setting is incredible - nestled deep in the woods with the sounds of the creek in the backyard. Our kids had a ball playing in the creek, running around the beautifully landscaped front yard, and swinging on the front porch swing. The location was convenient to a number of terrific hikes (not to mention boating activities on Lake Glenville). Our kids particularly loved Dry Falls since you can walk behind the falls a get a little wet!
The cabin is well stocked and the linens were clean. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer during our stay. We anticipated there being no cell reception (and there isn't), but in addition the wifi was quite spotty and slow. I'm not sure if this is a recurring issue or not, but it didn't bother us much as there is so much to do outdoors.
I would say that it seemed like the cabin was in need of a deep clean. Some corners (e.g. near the fireplace and TV) were dusty and had spider webs, and overall there was a musty smell, especially upstairs. All that being said, we had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting Cashiers again next summer.
