「The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice.」

「Brilliant place to stay for a stop-off while travelling or as a base for exploring this lovely part of the south-west, it is a really easy and comfortable place. We were in room 1 which had nice views of the church and was right next to the well-equipped kitchen area where you can go and make yourself a drink or relax in the lounge.
