"I love that that I had my own private onsen bathtub in my room. I was able to see the sunrise from this bathtub, which was such a cool experience. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast buffet was so good here! The seafood is really fresh, and the Omi beef shabu shabu was the best part. The public baths on the property are nice too, and I really like the library area where you can get free drinks and popsicles. (There’s a gorgeous view of cherry blossoms on the veranda in the library, so be sure to check that out in both daytime and nighttime.) There’s a happy hour where there is a yummy peach juice. I also got a ¥500 coupon to spend at the store, which was a nice surprise. All in all, this was a really great stay, and I highly recommend it, especially if you’re looking for an onsen resort that isn’t too far away from Kyoto that’s accessible by train. (They offer a free shuttle to the nearby train station when you check out. )"

"I love the staff so much! Super kind, optimistic, and happy people. The amount of different onsens they have are really awesome with an amazing view! You can get a 9 course dinner, and the breakfast is really filling too. I highly recommend getting your private onsen if you have tattoos since they dont allow them in the public onsens. If you have a small one, you have to cover it up. Would definitely come back again:)"
