"We arrived late and it was the night of the boss' wedding. Yeah, right. So we couldn't park the car in the underground garage at the Hotel but had to find a place on the street wherever I could. No restaurant for the night of course, you know, the wedding. A complimentary drink in exchange. Well, decide for yourself. Other than these it was a nice place, for one night we had to spend there."

"Very central to main shops and tourist sites. It's very modern but still needs attention . No toilet seats no dishes to put in oven, no kitchen towels or brush and pan . The couch was very uncomfortable and was a bet that was broken. Bno information on how to use facilities. The door key code was handle was difficult at first not the key box . I would stay again if the couch was replaced and toilet seats fitted. I sent pictures to Smart flats for there attention."

"The entire experience was great. The location was ideal, room was clean and spacious. The property was very clear and swift on instructions for checking in and parking. Also dog friendly. Overall would recommend The Hide to absolutely everyone travelling to Ghent. "

"I had a few days to tour Belgiam during a trip to Germany and am so happy I found The Mini. The small space had everything my traveling companion and I needed. The animals on the farm entertained us each morning, especial the brother and sister Burmese Mountain dogs. The proximity to Ghent, Bruges and the coast made travel so convenient. We were even able to book an additional night when an uncharacteristic snow storm kept us from traveling back to Cologne safely. All of our questions and needs...

"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"This is a lovely comfortable apartment that is about a 15 minute walk from all the attractions in town and very close to a bus/tram stop which is very convenient. It had everything we needed."

"Very interesting property within walking distance of sites, restaurants, and transit. Apartment is historic and beautiful, and has everything needed for simple meals and coffee. We were wishing the garden door opened (or that there was a window) and that some of the lights were on dimmers, but this is a wonderful place to stay. The host is very communicative and helpful. "

"Met zijn veertienen in een oud antiek huis. Oud is het zeker maar wel schoon bedden waren keurig opgemaakt .We hebben weer veel gelachen gedronken en heerlijk gegeten. Keuken erg goed uitgerust waardoor we een heerlijke mosselmaaltijd konden maken. Ook ruim voldoende tuinmeubilair zodat we van de Zeeuwse zon en het landschap konden genieten. "Our group stayed here for a week to take part in a cyclocross race - it was perfect in every way! The house was spacious, clean and situated in a very beautiful area. Our hosts met us and gave us a great intro to the home and area - we wish we could stay a month!!! Thanks for a great stay - Marc"

Practically Perfect Hotel

"I loved my stay here and only wish it was longer. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful, everyone says hi as you walk through the hotel. The building is beautiful with sumptuous relaxing interior decor from the restaurant to the garden to the room. The room had everything I could need including a balcony with a view over the garden. And to top it all off there is a stylish relax spa with excellent massage and pleasant pool. "

"Hotel was fantastic and exceeded expectation, the area is super quiet, and the parking outside (Reep car park) is perfect. Would recommend to park here and not the hotel parking as that’s 5 mins away. But the parking outside is £6 a day more expensive (better to pay this for convenience) The street it’s on is the best location so no outside noise, then 30 second walk down the street and you’re in the hustle and bustle, surrounded by amazing architecture. The room came with microwave, kettle, ironing board and iron, hob too with all the plates crockery and cookware. I have to say, I would definitely be staying here again. Only one thing is the bathroom windows are quite transparent. For us it wasn’t an issue going as husband and wife. Other than that, couldn’t recommend this enough and will be visiting again. "
