Wow. The views from this home are
breathtaking. It was tempting to just stare out the window all day. The home itself is lovely, with a well-stocked kitchen for cooking and baking, a super nice bbq, and all the bedding was so soft and comfy. The dining room has feels elegant and modern, seats 8 with comfy velvet chairs, and more great views.
Also, they do not just “allow” dogs, but love them, my Max was very pampered. They provide a whole set-up for them! They had this super plush bed set for him, with a surprise gift, plus a basket of filled with quick dry towels, a chuck it, and even a whole jar filled with delectable doggie treats. Max was in heaven, which of course made me very happy.
The morning fog and sunrises on the spa deck were glorious, despite some occasional rain. If you sit toward the back of the spa, you’re out of the rain and can enjoy the brave hummies and finches that are ever present (& you’re supplied with food to refill them)!
The boutique welcome wine was yummie, and there was even a voucher for a buy one get one tasting (I don’t know if they always have these) which was fabulous. Their custom visit guides helped us plan a fantastic trip, and we still have quite a long list to “to do’s” for future visits, including adding a day to rent the kayaks and get out on the river!
I think we found our new Healdsburg wine country home base. Everyone was a delight to communicate with, and ensured I had everything I could need.
