「Wow! This place was probably one of the best we've ever stayed at. It's huge, plenty of space for our family of 12, 2 beautiful living rooms and an enormous dining table big enough gor us to all eat together. The apartments were decorated beautifully, with lots of attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and beds were really comfy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more! 「Nice place, the DEN once I found it, but to be fair I probably didn’t follow the directions , what can I say? i’m a bloke. 「I enjoyed this very small, but comfortable flat. Everything was in order when I arrived and it was a convenient base for walking and exploring the general area. Food shopping was handy and Kendal was a welcoming town for this lone traveler, much preferred over the more tourist towns along Lake Windermere. Again, as advertised, it is a small space.」

「My wife, myself, our 4 grown up children and our dog stayed for my father’s 90th birthday party weekend nearby. I grew up in the area so know it well. The house was the perfect base for us and is a charming and comfortable place to stay. It has everything you could need and the instructions, welcome pack and facilities were first rate. 「Cottage is lush, clean, comfy, spacious. We were made to feel very welcome. Lots of attention to detail. There was tea, coffee, milk and even chocolates left for us. Beautiful breakfast, very attentive hosts. We only stayed for two nights but would love to come again and stay longer!」

「We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening. 」
