"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. Stay away! Nice area, but not...

"You cant check in early because theyre closed from 11am to 5 pm. They email you a code to get in however the machine was broken. So we had to wait to get in until someone arrived which thankfully was early. The room was very bare and basic, like a college dorm room. Hard beds. 1 pillow and 1 towel only. Nothing extra. Only a hospital-type curtain to close off the shower/sink area. Toilet closet is separate. Its all very clean however. Breakfast buffet was €10 extra and very ample. Staff very...

"I love this hotel and have used it several times as a stop off before driving back to England via the Tunnel. The French Chateau is a perfect setting and I have seen many French groups using it for weddings and work meetings."
