Only negative is I cannot park our car in the hotels parking lot due to it being long, although it's a regular size car. Offsite parking was not convenient and its a hit and miss and very tight parking spots."

"We are from US. This hotel’s room is simple but it has everything you need and it is very clean! I have stayed in higher star hotels in US and we don’t get the cleanliness and service and we still tipped even when the service at the US hotel was non existent. In Japan, no tipping and we get great service. The free breakfast at Comfort Hotel was good too. "

"It is a 6 minutes walk to the central area of the city. However, it is very close and the location is great. Great hotel and great staff also."

"About 8 mins walk from local train station. Whole place is so well decorated. Feels dreamy with Ghibli's soundtracks mildly played. The owner speaks great English. Everything is clean and efficient. I stayed in a dorm of 4. The room itself might be a bit small if you have big suitcase. But the space was fair enough for me. Top floor is where you can hang the laundries. You can see Kumamoto castle from there. Overall it was a great stay. Also great value for money."
