「Had a lovely holiday at Meadow End Barn celebrating my 70th birthday with family.Property clean and well equipped,although a washing line would have been useful.Coralie and villagers very friendly and welcoming.Had a couple of meals at the local pub,very friendly staff and very accommodating for disabled members in my party. 「Exceeded expectations. The photos cannot capture the true glory of the setting: an extended log cabin nestling in a large grassy area, surrounded by forest. We had beautiful weather, which helped, but even if the weather hadn't been so good I think we would still have had a great stay. 「Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. 」

「Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.」

「So peaceful, surrounded by fields of sheep. Walks right on your doorstep, lots of history. Beautiful quaint towns Ross on Wye and Abergavenny. Take a boat trip down the Wye from Symonds Yat East. The Apple Store cottage was so clean and comfy, we’ll definitely be back 🙏😊」

「Had an enjoyable short break at the Maple Lodge. Hosts were very friendly including the cats and dogs. Lodge was cozy, clean and had all the amenities you need. Bed was comfortable and slept well after all the walking and trekking. WiFi was intermittent and could probably do with a boost but it did not ruin our stay as we were out exploring the surrounding area most of the day. 「We enjoyed staying at the cottage in Luston. There was lots of room for us and our two friends and we enjoyed having a bathroom each. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was room for four of us to sit at the dining table. There are lots of places to visit e.g castles and manor houses which are just a short drive away. Our hosts Amy and James made us feel welcome.」

「Returned to this property a second time for a large family gathering and once again it didn't disappoint. The house and grounds are so well kept. Both adults and kids can be entertained as well as feeling relaxed. The memories that have been made from our visits often come up in conversation and now we've more to reminisce. 「We had the most wonderful time staying here. The house was surprisingly spacious and immaculately clean. The terrace became a second room and we spent most of our time there, joyfully chatting and admiring the view. The highlight for me was the joy the dogs had with their freedom and trips up the field at first light. The views from up there are incredible. 「Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio.
