「It is on a busy road so it is noisy. They did provide ear plugs. Air conditioning works well. The shower is large. 」

「It's a lovely place, though Hilo itself is a bit run down. Itxs a great place to stay if you are going to go hiking, or to a much less crowded beach, but just know that dining is limited and nightlife is almost non-existent. 」

「Amazing view from the king suite! Charming character and appreciated keurig with coffee pods and creamer, silverware and paper plates, etc. Walls thin and had some disturbance from one neighbor. Parking is difficult and steep.」

「We had the best time at Hamakua hotel. First, the manager was very accomodating and generous. The room was beautiful, big, clean, with big windows - so relaxing. And we had the chance to attend the surprise dinner on tuesday night. It was unbelievable. Truly, one of the best dinners in my life. We were amazed and so grateful. The Hamakua hotel is a pricey place to stay, but for the experience that we had, it was all worth it. Beyond expectations. We truly recommend it!」

「2度目の宿泊ですが、偶然にも1回目と同じ部屋。広くて静かで何でも揃っていて自宅のような感覚で過ごせる快適なホテルです。 朝食が7時の時点で果物もなくパンしかなかったのは残念だけど、部屋もレトロな感じで 本当に大好きなホテルです。 次回も必ず行きます。」

「コテージだから価格的に立派なHotelに泊まるよりお得。素朴な感じと周りの自然に慣れれば良いと思う。洗濯機、乾燥機、共同キッチンだけど、これも慣れれば大丈夫。因みに今回が４回目。」

「小さな集落中心にあります・スーパーマーケットもガソリンスタンドも目の前です。カやフェお土産屋もいくつかあります。ポロル渓谷にも近かったです。」

「食糧を一定程度持参しましょう。 キッチンもBBQ器具もあります。 静かで快適です。」

「オーナーがとても親切でフレンドリーです。建物は古いですが丁寧にメンテナンスされながら大事に使ってらっしゃるので、古めかしさはなく、むしろ素敵なお家に招待されたような気分で、毎日過ごせました。ダイニングからのオーシャンフロントの眺めは最高です。 お茶、コーヒー、お水も共有スペースに複数準備しておいてくださり、庭で採れたバナナがとても美味しかったです。タオルも毎日交換してくださるので気持ちよかったです。」
