"The hotel is in a beautiful area. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The “spa” room was amazing. We ate dinner at the hotel and our server, Gianna was very helpful in translating the menu and explaining the dishes. Her recommendations were very good! She also answered our questions about the school and health systems of Germany."

"Only there for one night. Picked it because it offered airport transportation for our flight home the next morning. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was about a 40 minute drive to the airport. I'm sure it's a lovely property... we didn't have an opportunity to explore or experience much, since we arrived late at night and had to leave early the next morning. Beds were comfortable and place was clean."

"The room was very clean, and the breakfast selection was excellent. There were definitely a few items that could be improved, however. 1. Someone needs spend five seconds using a drain clog cleaner in the shower drain in the room we were in because it drains very slowly. There’s probably a lot of hair in it. 2. "The Maritim is a very nice hotel that is well located in Darmstadt. Transportation is easy to and from it because it's near the main train station and a substantial taxi stand. The workers at the hotel have always been kind and helpful to me and I've appreciated them many times. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the selection of pillows is ample. "The staff was very friendly, the room was large and when we rented a room for 4 people they made sure there were additional towels for everyone and that all beds were set up and made. It was very beautiful scenery and the hotel was cute and clean. The restaurant was SO GOOD. The absolute best gravy I've ever had.We all wish we had more than one day. Thank you!"

"Super king size bed was amazing but the pillows are disappointingly soft and not comfortable. The duvets are too small and they don’t have double duvets. The room and communal areas are spotless but the staff are unfriendly, if you can find them, lol. Very modern design with state of art heating and cooling system, second to none, very impressive. Overall it is a really good value for money."

"It is in the airport area, but you don't hear any airplane noise. The hotel is clean, the rooms are quite spacious. The breakfast is very good. There is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but you pay 10 Euros per person to go from the hotel to the airport; there is a similar operation in other hotels in the area. We ordered food delivery to the hotel, the reception staff was very helpful."
