About Brighter Outlook I

Located in the scenic community of The Dunes in Fort Morgan, Brighter Outlook I is one-half of a large duplex. Each side features 5 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 16 guests. At Brighter Outlook I, guests are immediately greeted with the home's sunny exterior. It's impossible not to feel brighter here! Located a short walk or just a few seconds drive from easy beach access with parking, Brighter Outlook I offers guests the ease of being near the beach and also the convenience of a community pool nearby! After a day of swimming, enjoy the breeze and the view from one of the home's covered decks.

Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with a wide-open and bright living area with a large TV and plenty of comfortable seating. Enjoy the views of the dunes from the wall-to-wall windows! The living space flows into the dining space which offers plenty of seating at the table and the bar. Conveniently located off the dining space is a second sitting area with a sleeper sofa for 2 guests. The newly renovated kitchen offers everything needed to prepare meals while on vacation. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Keurig, and necessary cookware and dishes provide all the comforts of home! A private charcoal grill is available for use as well.

The main floor also features one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, TV, and a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Moving upstairs, guests will find 4 more bedrooms starting with the master. The incredibly spacious master bedroom features a king-sized bed, stunning Gulf views from a private balcony, and a TV. Within the master, the oversized closet has a set of twin bunk beds to keep the kids close but give them their own space. The equally impressive master bathroom features a huge walk-in shower and a whirlpool tub, perfect for unwinding in the evenings! Bedrooms 3 and 4 each feature queen beds and TVs. Bedroom 5 is a spacious room that sleeps 4 in one queen bed and a set of twin closet bunks. The upstairs bedrooms share a Jack and Jill hall bathroom.

Not only can large families and groups enjoy an unforgettable beach vacation at Brighter Outlook I, the furry family members can also join the fun as well! Up to two small dogs are allowed with additional fees. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull

Upstairs A/C never worked
Despite the many amenities of this property, my team was on the Island to work. We needed the property to shower and sleep. There was one bedroom downstairs where the a/c worked and 4 bedrooms upstairs where the a/c did NOT work when we arrived and never got fixed by the time we checked out. The owner (or owner's representative) was responsive to our multiple texts, did send out an a/c repair company on a weekend. They could not fix it and advised the owner to replace the unit. My team NEVER had a/c upstairs. By the time an alternative was offered (over 48 hours after first reporting the issue) my team had settled into accommodating themselves downstairs on couches, the floor, etc... The offer to move to another unit (attached I think), was too late to impress my team and was disingenuous in its offering because access was not provided with the offer. This owner refused to offer any discount or refund citing "fine print" and caring not a bit about the disarray and discomfort to my team. RENTOR BEWARE!!!! Heaven forbid that, should you choose to rent from this owner, anything might go wrong that causes significant issues for you.

Pictures and house # of our rental changed last minute.
Right before we arrived we received notification that our rental was given to someone else. We were put on the other side of the duplex. It was nice but it was different than pictures we were sent. Except for this everything was good.

POOR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT/shared wall condo
Upon arrival we found 3 young men inside the property. They stated they also had rented the property and had the same code we were given to enter. We went to the adjacent property and the code worked there as well. There was a strong smell of “skunk” throughout the entire property. I called Sunset Prop. and told them of the mix up with the addresses, codes and smell. They told us to stay next door. No codes were changed to enter either property. The rest of our stay was very eventful with Gulf Shores PD making 2 visits on 2 separate nights to the property for the people next door. They arrested a few of them for disorderly conduct, drugs and possible weapons. The PD stated that the condo was rented by a third party who was not staying there and that they had received multiple complaints from other renters. The PD had to evict the occupants on the 3rd night after getting in touch with the owners. We reported the overcrowding(40+/- guests) to the security gate officer. He must not have reported it to the property manager since we were told that they were unaware of the “gatherings”. On the last day of our stay one of the employees arrived to view the damage next door. We told her about the problems the past 3 days/nights, and she advised us to contact her boss through email. The results of that exchange were not satisfactory. We have been visiting Fort Morgan for 10 yrs and have always enjoyed it. But we will definitely be avoiding any rentals managed by Sunset Properties!

We stayed one night and needed a place to stay close to fort Morgan Marina for a fishing trip!

Nice home but rental company unresponsive
Property missing Wi-Fi and cable tv as promised in ad. Rental company not responsive when contacted. Wi-Fi issue finally resolved but cable tv wasn’t.
