「We had a wonderful time exploring Acadia in the winter and thoroughly enjoyed this home as our home base. As advertised, beautiful and cozy and Tracey was a very thoughtful and accommodating host.」

「Located within easy walking distance to town of Southwest Harbor and an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia park. Zane had good communication with us.」

「The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.」

「The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed.」

「This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. 」
