「We stayed for a week with our adult children. It was a great location to all the things we wanted to do. The hosts were very responsive when I needed to reach out. The house was very nice. We would stay there again.」

「The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.」

「Beautiful property. As advertised. Very private. 」

「We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him.」
