「This property was perfect for us! The location offered us the ability to explore other areas of the Keys with ease. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful and offered plenty of both sun, shade and room for all guests to have space. Perfect!」

「Small but comfortable studio rental. Each 8a/8b/8c unit has own picnic table, gas grill, and 2 Adirondack chairs w/ table under the awning/roof. Nice 7sqft fridge/freezer. Water is hot but low pressure. Bed okay but a bit soft. Second pillows are red "pleather" not best for humid climes. no beach towels. pre-check in email never landed but they called back within 5 minutes. Finding the place took verbal direction (its mid way up "1st Street" on (R), right after 'club house' which is a large...

「Efficiency unit. Small, clean and homey. Hosts are very responsive. There was a binder with recommendations for things to do and restaurants which was very helpful and appreciated. The jetty is great for views and/or fishing. Marathon is great base location to explore the keys. First time in the Keys. Loved it and would rent again. 」

「This might be the cleanest apartment that I’ve rented. The kitchen is nicely furnished and the furniture and bedding is cozy. It’s a little noisy, but it’s a working marina! Good weekend.」

「This was our second year at the property in this unit. We stayed 5 days. The full kitchen and a full sized shower were requirements for us and the unit meet those needs. More sun would have enabled us to enjoy the beach area but you can't control the weather. Nice area to stay even without sun! Good for walking and exercise. 」

「Key Colony is lovely spot in marathon that makes you feel away from everything but still close to stores and restaurants. The unit is one of the best locations on the property with a beautiful water view from the balcony and close proximity to the beach and grills. A little dated but clean and comfy with all the basics provided for a fabulous family vacation. Highly recommend!」

「Loved our stay at Key Colony in this new 3 bed, 3 bath home. We enjoyed walking the local area each day and went to sombrero beach. This home has a beautiful view of the pool and inter coastal way. 」

「Our host was very welcoming and friendly, and the accommodations were as represented on VRBO. The location was fantastic, we were able to travel easily to Key West and other things we wanted to see. Enough space to comfortably house 2 adults and 2 teens. We would definitely book in again on our next trip to the Keys.」

「When we first checked in we had some issues but the property owner made sure to correct the issues. The reason for the four was the chairs at the outdoor table were worn and the fabric was torn and looked like it would cause you to fall through the chair. The upstairs patio was awesome. I would definitely Recommend this rental as they seem very concerned to make things right. 」

「Property is in a wonderful location and tastefully decorated. The stairs are a bit steep for older/very young so be prepared for that. Loved our week here!」

Our stay was almost three weeks and the washer and dryer came in very handy. We love fishing from the backyard and enjoy seeing the tarpons and manatees. Will be back!」

「It was peaceful 」

「Best house ever. Very friendly host and ready to please with any requests. The beds were top quality. The house is perfect for families, the kitchen is great to cook, they have games, fishing poles and is very clean. We have never seen such beautiful sunsets. Easy to get to from anywhere in the country. Marathon is a unique destination, great food, quaint and you don’t get tired of coming back every year. WE RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE.」
