I am writing this review, as I was unhappy with how unresponsive the owners were throughout our ordeal on the last two days there, and the feedback they had given, in terms of the bond etc. To be fair we did not deserve our bond back, as we were very loud, left a hole in their wall, and few minor things that in retrospect will not add up to our bond, but what they had blamed us for is unacceptable. Within our time at the property, the bins were not emptied when we checked upon arrival (they were full to the brim of beer bottles and cans) , circuit breaker tripped, gate code loss power, the sink had fallen through due to poor installment, the BBQ had also caught a light due to no rocks being in the drip tray to soak up the fat (this shouldn’t of been our job to check, there was also no fire extinguisher) the damage to the wall and vent due to the BBQ catching fire was out of our control. In terms of the BBQ catching fire, in the feedback they gave us, they said the neigbours saw the BBQ unattended when it caught fire, when really,our dark skinned friend was there very much the whole time (My friends and I find this to be very offensive). They also blamed us for multiple hole damages in the room with the bunkbed and double bed, when in fact, who ever “installed” the tv is to blame as they suck at their job (we have video evidence of this already being there upon arrival) They also blamed us for cigarettes being left everywhere, but that can’t be true if neither my friends or myself smoke. In all honesty it, seems like the tenants of the house never really checked anything properly, and then blamed the next owner for mistakes of their own, or previous owners. BE VERY CAREFUL when booking this house, it did, and still does feel like they scammed us, especially with all that happened coincidentally and the fibs that the neighbours told.
