This property was perfect for our stay - it literally felt like a home away from home. The apartment (the lower level of a large ranch-style home) is huge - large bedrooms, large living rooms (including one with a pool table), large bathrooms - worlds away from staying in a hotel. It was spotless and well appointed - plenty of extra towels, blankets, dishes, etc. The "kitchen" is really a converted bar, so no oven, but it did have a full size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, etc. - definitely more than adequate for our needs.
The location is excellent. It is only about 5-10 minutes to Gettysburg (depending on where you're going - downtown, to the battlefield, etc.). The patio opens onto a large field that slopes down to a far distant tree line (great place for a morning coffee while watching the hummingbirds.) The neighboring houses are similarly situated, giving it a nice, spacious, rural effect without feeling isolated.
Nora is very gracious and responsive, although we really only exchanged pleasantries with her, as everything was already in place. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and would love to stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Gettysburg.
