The suite is a 2nd floor, large one bedroom apartment above a law firm. The living quarters is accessed via a private 1st floor entrance, with Smart entry. The entrance hallway is ideal for storing bikes, golf clubs or muddy shoes. A wide staircase leads to the 2nd floor living space and the living room/dining room. The living room has a queen size sleeper-sofa. The living/dining room is highlighted by 10' ceilings and 3 large windows facing the front of the building and a large stained glass window. Separating the living room and bedroom is a large, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. The bedroom is also accentuated with 10' ceilings and 2 large windows. To the rear of the bedroom is the bathroom, laundry and large walk-in closet.

Way better than the weather

Perfect stay
Everything about our stay was great! The price and location were perfect for our needs. The suite was spacious and extremely clean. It is exactly as pictured on the listing. The extra touches were welcome: toiletries, snacks, laundry supplies etc. Easily in walking distance from the town square and we were able to enjoy the Snack Town Street Fair. Would stay here again!

A nice refuge, close to Gettysburg
Stayed for four nights at this lovely property in Hanover. Used it as a base for attending a conference in Gettysburg. Everything was exactly as pictured, communication was easy and responsive. All in all, very satisfactory and I hope to stay again for the conference next year!

Never disappointed
Sam Gates is a great host. Always enjoy our talks. The apartment is clean, well equipped and has everything you need for a short or extended stay, and is close to the town square. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance or a short drive. We are looking forward to our next stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in the Hanover area.

Perfect Home Away From Home
I traveled to Hanover on business and for a family visit. The apartment is absolutely fantastic, well maintained and extremely clean. The Hosts put forth every effort to ensure comfort, convenience and safety. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with many amenities. The location is perfect with shopping, restaurants and tourist sites close by. Without a doubt, my trip was made more enjoyable by staying in this apartment. The property comes as advertised, clean, bright and convenient!! AC is nice (even in May), though it's something I'm not used to. Bed is comfy, kitchen is nice, bathroom is clean and w/d come in handy. The outdoor space is nice, water feature a plus!! Hope to return next year and find some ghosts at Gettysburg. Great Rental!!!!
My husband and son stayed at this property for a weekend to explore Gettysburg. In all of our travels, regardless of the price point, this property was by far the best stocked and cleanest property we have stayed at! There was everything there that a traveler could have forgotten. The complimentary supplies were five star. They had beers, juice, sparkling water, chips, and more! The rental was spottless and exactly like the pictures!!! Communication with the owner was quick, easy and pleasant. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Amazing!
Property was amazing! Exactly like this pictures! Host went above and beyond expectations with all the extras!! Never imagined there would be everything we needed including laundry soap and bathroom necessities! Located in the center of town with all kinds of little shops and restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely be planning another trip to this location!! So very nice
This apartment is so pretty. It was very comfortable. There were snacks from local companies, Utz chips and Hershey chocolate which was very thoughtful. There was coffee pods, oil and spices, some drinks in the fridge. In the bathroom were some toiletries and body wash/shampoo were provided. Sam seems to have thought of everything his guests might need. The location was great with parking available next to the building. Close to Gettysburg, not too far from Lancaster and Hershey. This was a great place to stay. Thank you Sam for sharing your beautiful apartment!

Amazing rental experience
I’ve never rented a property like this before, but the reviews were great, the price was amazing, and the pictures looked perfect. I could not have been happier with my stay. The apartment is perfect and has so many helpful features - wireless chargers, easy keyless access, nightlights right where they are needed. Sam thinks of everything. If you are thinking of staying in or around Hanover, honestly just book this place if you can. No need to look further - hotels are twice the cost and twice the hassle for half the space and amenities. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks, Sam, for sharing this space and for all the care you put into making your guests comfy.

Excellent property
The apartment was accurately presented on-line. Clean, with great private and generous space. All appliances fundtioned and space was complete with everything we would need for the stay. Linens were crisp and towels fluffy . Refrig even stocked with basic soda and water. The host was timely in his check in and made sure we had all that we would need. He is aware of street noise and that is the only negative. We lucked out on weather and the location was a great base for our travels to the many Civil War sites. So close that we saw many more locations than we had originally planned. The owner's library provided great research opportunities during our stay.

Perfect Stay
We had a great stay in this suite. We feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this affordable alternative to the area's hotels. The unit is clean and spacious with all the amenities you need. The bed is comfortable. This is an upstairs unit, as described in the listing, so that should be noted by anyone with mobility issues. Also, the living room is off of a staircase open to the first floor hallway (which can be used by law firm employees, etc) so that might be a little odd if you plan to utilize the sleeper sofa. We didn't find it to be a concern, however, when using the living room. The host provided great communication and truly cared about our stay. The location was great for us. Although on a busy street, the traffic was light in the evenings and early mornings so noise was not an issue when sleeping. We certainly hope that this property remains available and affordable for our future visits as we intend to stay again!

Perfect stay
This was a great location for us. Easy to check in and everything was clean. Plenty of parking so you didn’t have to worry about not having a spot. If you forgot anything they had it there incase. There were some snacks and drinks there if we wanted them. You could walk to some shops and restaurants. Will stay here again.

Nice Place
The unit was clean, manager was quick to respond and l stayed there for a week. The queen bed was too high and small for me and my husband. There were steps provided so that you can get up in the bed. A regular king size bed would be a nice replacement. Also there are steps inside to get up to the unit so that would stop me from staying there again. . The decor is nice and the unit was comfortable.
