Very hospitable host! Enjoyed the fishing and crabbing. Wonderful eating experience at Top Water Grill and Noah’s Ark! Loved the views of the bay, both at the restaurants and the cottage. Quiet, calm and relaxing stay! I highly recommend visiting there and would like to return again.Glynda

Husband, dog and I were in the Galveston Bay area looking for houses. La Petit Maison was perfect for our stay. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Very efficient A/C units were on when we arrived. We walked along the short private walkway to the private deck and private pier a number of times for beautiful views of the bay, sunrise, and sunset. Notable extras include neighborhood location (wonderful for walking our dog) great indoor lighting for evenings, and lots of bath towels and racks for hanging.

This was an incredible stay for a trip of fishing and relaxation! This property was perfectly peaceful!! I read and watched the water while my husband fished, and we could not have picked a better place!! The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular!! The owners were on site and a phone call away if we needed anything, but we did not! Most special part was on Friday night, there were fireworks at the Kemah Boardwalk, and we could see them from the property so easily! We will certainly return, and I’m counting down the days until then!

Stayed here for a family reunion. Our family rented several houses in this area. We had a wonderful time here. It was great coming back to this house at the end of the day, super clean, and a great bed. Having a super comfie bed makes a huge difference! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to hosts❤️

A real gem with a great view

This property is a unique 2 story casita with well outfitted kitchen and a very comfortable king bed. The star of the show is the huge back sitting area overlooking Galveston Bay

Quaint

This is a quaint comfortable cottage. The patio has a nice view as well as the balcony. We had our 5 pound Maltipoo with us and the host allowed us to leave her for a few hours so we could go to the Space Center. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a darling cottage, with lovely appointments, we loved the master bedroom with enough space to get ready in the evening for dinners out. Quiet, secluded and perfectly peaceful! Will stay again!!!

Nice Weekend Getaway

My fiancé and I wanted a weekend break from wedding planning, and this provided just what we were looking for! Accessible views of the water from the balcony with access to a fishing pier, just a few minutes' drive from the Kemah Boardwalk and relatively easy to find! We would both recommend this for a couple looking for a little escape from it all!

We had a very relaxing stay here. The owners were very easy to get ahold of. The coffee maker stopped working and they replaced it immediately. It is beautiful inside and out. Highly recommend this property.

This was everything!

We enjoyed our stay at La Petit Maison and will cherish the memories for years to come. The host was welcoming, communicative and informative. Everything was as described and the place was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We also enjoyed the Rusty Hook grill, just around the corner from the cottage. Additionally we appreciated being only minutes away in drive time to Kemah Boardwalk and NASA Space Center.

Definitely "Petite", but wonderful cottage!

The location is perfect! It's only about a 6 minute drive to Kemah and about 25 minutes to Galveston. The cottage is actually located just behind the main house. There is a deck off of the bedroom upstairs that has a nice view of the Bay. And if you walk by the side of the main house there is a beautiful Deck with lounge chairs that overlooks a fantastic view of the Bay! We were very pleased with our stay!

A surprise!

We had to cancel an RV trip due to brake problems and found this little gem just south of Kemah. The hosts provided us lots of good info on things to do and where to eat. When we had questions about the cottage, they responded with helpful answers very quickly. The location was great and we spent lots of time on the balcony and the patio, reading and watching Galveston Bay. We enjoyed our stay and heartily recommend it.

Charming Cottage by the Bay

Beautiful neighborhood with mature oak trees. Stunning sunrise over the bay. I sat at the end of the pier (brought my own folding chair) for a glorious morning show of gulls hunting for breakfast, baitfish flying out of the water fleeing from predators below. I even saw a few dolphins the first morning! All this can be seen from the deck as well, but I really enjoyed the full immersion experience the second day. To close out the evening there was a dragonfly parade, thousands of the largest dragonflies I have ever seen, gliding along above the shoreline eradicating tens of thousands of mosquitoes. Thankful for that!

La petite Maison

Absolutely loved the location of the property. The cottage was very clean and cozy. We had the run of their deck in the front of the house right on the water. Enjoyed having coffee out there in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening just listening to the waves. Very relaxing…just what we were looking for. The actual place we stayed was a cute cottage behind the main house. It has a balcony outside the bedroom and when we weren’t on the main deck we were sitting on the balcony of the cottage. I will say the downstairs is not as large as we thought it would be. Not really room to stretch out and watch tv but we were either relaxing on the main house’s deck or out enjoying the area.
