We all really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The property was clean and the location is great. The host were attentive and responsive, especially when we ran into a problem worth the water. We suddenly lost eater pressure, but it was fixed immediately! Highly recommended!

Great vacation house
We enjoyed the property, big yard for the kids and pup to play in and view wildlife. The river was pretty, I wish it was more accessible but we made the most of it. Easy to walk upstream and hop in and float back to the stairs at the cabin. The location between Bryson and Franklin was continent to both . Really enjoyed it

Gem mining.
The accommodations were wonderful. Close to the natural gem mines. The fish just didn't want to cooperate. Everything you could ask for for a week in the North Carolina mountains.

Amazing mountain getaway!
This lovely home was clean and well maintained in the beautiful mountains of NC! What a relaxing visit and time enjoying local hikes and restaurants and shops. The river behind the house was beautiful as was the scenery from the massive windows in the great room. It was such a peaceful getaway. Thank you for opening your home!

This is a spectacular property. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a crowd. Lots of outdoor space! Close to fishing and hiking. Well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, a few things didn’t work. But overall, we had a fine stay.

Fall trip
Another great motorcycle trip! It just went by way too fast. The house was as described, spacious & clean. Really nice! We had 3 couples, but could have accommodated 4. The driveway was a lil tricky the first time, but we learned 1 bike at a time, no problem. We all especially enjoyed the back yard. A great way to start the day, on the back deck with a cup of coffee, watching the birds, squirrels and we even had a bunny. A great place to end the day too, sitting by a fire planning our next day ride, and the guys even got in a little fishing. Very private, peaceful and relaxing. Liked that they had grocery stores & gas stations nearby. All in all, a really nice place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

On the river with the fam
All was as advertised. Accessible location; right on the river. Really relaxing. Everything we needed, inside and out. Absolutely would return. Kids loved the fishing and the hot tub. Had a couple requests and the hosts were very responsive and effective.

Fun
This home is very clean, very roomy, very comfortable, and has easy access from the road. If you’re looking for a water view property, this place is wonderful! If you’re seeking a water access property (swimming, fishing, ect), you may want to move on in your search. Just depends on what you’re after. We enjoyed fires every day in the fire pit, and our pup was happy to be with us as well! The kids liked having their own space and we were able to enjoy a number of activities including white water rafting. Location was great, house was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay!

Just this side of heaven
Loved the house & property! Especially loved being able to take the dogs for a spin around the property--as the "front yard" is huge--and walk over to the viewing platform for the Cherokee lodge. The house itself is lovely, and the beds were especially comfortable. The only disappointing element was that there is no easy access to the river in the back of the property. You can follow the path over to the viewing platform, and there's access on the path beyond that. Still, it was lovely being able to sit in the yard behind the house by the river. There are beavers, so you need to keep an eye on your dogs, but we managed that well. All in all, this was a super wonderful place! We three ladies of a certain age loved it!
