Shaka Stays is pleased to present our Modern Bungalow in the heart of Oakland Park with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Shaka 731 includes newly remodeled interior, a beautiful screened in Florida room with a pool table, and a massive, private, backyard with a BBQ grill, pizza oven and dining space. This bright and airy vacation home in a lovely neighborhood, is the perfect home for a relaxing family getaway. The location is perfect for enjoying a relaxing time during the day and having fun during the night.

Guests will enjoy this entire home to themselves! To ensure an easy check-in, all of our units are equipped with smart locks giving each guest access by entering unique reservation pin codes. For safety reasons, we do not provide detailed entry instructions until the day before your check-in.

IMPORTANT
Our home is nestled in a residential neighborhood. There are noise restrictions with quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. This is enforced by the city.
A gentle reminder, absolutely no smoking inside the property or parties allowed. A minimum fee of $500 will be applied for any violations of the house rules.
BUGS: As a reminder, South Florida is a humid climate year round, which bugs love. We have pest control spray our properties on a monthly basis to prevent bugs and cockroaches as best possible. However, because of the South Florida climate, we can not guarantee that cockroaches won't randomly appear. If they do, please let us know right and we will address the issue immediately.
HURRICANE SEASON: June 1st- November 30th. We encourage all travelers who book during this time frame to purchase travel insurance that covers natural disasters.

This property is a smart house equipped with a smart lock, front door camera, & Bluetooth speaker. Guests can access the space with no contact check-in and will be provided a unique front door code that only they will have.
Experience the laidback vibes of Oakland Park from this ideally situated home. Located just off NW 38th Street, you're steps from funky cafes, unique boutiques, and quaint restaurants that give this area its eclectic local flavor.
Stroll just down the street to grab an iced coffee at Cyth & Company or fresh seafood dishes at Catfish Dewey's. Oakland Park's burgeoning art scene is on display at the galleries along NE 38th Street and Oakland Park Boulevard.
At this location you're also conveniently situated right between Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach. Drive just 10 minutes to the beach to soak up the sun and waves along the Atlantic Ocean. Or head inland 10 minutes to explore the dining and nightlife of downtown Fort Lauderdale.
While offering easy access to attractions, this charming neighborhood retains its relaxed pace. Mornings here are best spent meandering the quiet streets admiring tropical plants and blooming flowers. Oakland Park offers a taste of authentic South Florida living.

Each one of our homes is specifically designed with guests in mind and maintained at the same level as a luxury hotel. We leave a starter kit of the following for your convenience:

*Some of our rules may sound stern but we just want to make sure we're all on the same page before we get you all checked in. Thanks in advance for taking a quick second to acknowledge them!*
1. If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking.
2. Guest acknowledges that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
3. No parties or events allowed.
4. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number.
5. NO SMOKING; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana. There will be a $300 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
6. Please return games to their respective boxes and records to their correct vinyl sleeve after each use.
7. Please clean & scrape the BBQ grill and Pizza Oven after each use. Unfortunately if neglected, an additional cleaning fee will be charged in order to remedy for our next guests.
8. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, a violation could lead to a fee or the immediate removal of all guests without a refund. We will charge a $35 fee for every additional guest past the occupancy limit (7 people).
9. Late check-out fee of $30 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.
10. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).
11. No unauthorized pets allowed. Additional cleaning fee will be incurred if there is animal dirt/hair in the house in order to remedy for next guests.
12. Please be cautious of the white furniture/rugs/bedding. Unfortunately if damages or stains occur during stay, guest will incur additional cleaning fee in order to remedy for the next guests.
13. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.
