「We found the location convenient as it's on the main road through Mentone. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, as was the hot tub. The owner was also responsive and helpful. And having breakfast right down the hall every morning was a nice plus! Worth noting that, while the place is dog friendly, the yard is not fenced in and, again, is right on the main road. 「Pros: great house; great size, 4 BR, 4 bath; great porch; great game loft; nice size kitchen ; great toys for children Cons: septic tank overflowing into yard on arrival & took 2 days to remedy…terrible smell, children couldn’t play in yard. Furnishings were very skimpy; minimal kitchen supplies; tiny coffeemaker, 5 cup & single serve Keurig, no lamps…only overhead lights so we couldn’t read in bed or on the sofa. Upstairs beds were exceedingly uncomfortable & very loose & wobbly…was afraid...

「I personally didn't stay at the property. I rented it for my son and his fiancée. She's a huge Harry Potter fan, they both had a birthday in May and they will soon be having my 4th grandchild. I wanted to do something nice for them and they LOVED the place!! They said that it was nice to be alone and cut off from the world. Just the two of them.
