"Very clean and up to date 5 out of 5 stars in my opinion. The property manager was very helpful it was a great time."

"This is a very cute place to stay, especially if you love antiques and history. A perfect get away for anyone wanting quiet and, perhaps, reading or study time. There is no TV, and due to the antique decor, I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for kids."

"The host were very nice people and quick to response to emails on just a couple questions I had, The place is a beautiful log home talked away about a half a mile back in the woods. It is completely beautiful trails wildlife. We loved it and plan on visiting again."

"Delightful, relaxing, awesome scenery. Lots of nature trails to walk. Great small town with lots of helpful and friendly people. Mexican restaurant in Marceline has delicious food. "

"I was in town a couple nights with my pup, this place worked out great for us. There was no soap/shampoo in the bathroom/shower....i had to run out and get some. Also, i had to pick up new batteries for the remote. No biggie, but figured i'd let you know. overall, it was nice and clean and quiet........i'd stay here again"

"We were very happy with our stay at your charming home while visiting friends in Macon on our way to Louisiana. It was very comfortable and suited our needs very well. Our stay was brief, however during our 10-day trip, your beds were the most comfortable, and the sheets more luxurious than either of the 2 of the major "H" brand hotels we stayed at. Thank you! "

"We were in town for Thanksgiving and the property and host were great! The house is spacious and so clean. The heat had an issue and so I contacted the host, she got back to me immediately and fixed the heat within the hour. We will definitely stay again when we visit family! "

"Well worth the stay. I came from out of state for a funeral. I was worried about doing this as it was the first time I ever stayed anywhere other than a hotel. I was very pleased with the process and condition of the property.
