Eco Cabin is the perfect 2 unit with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, Cabin at beautiful Cape Fear River in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. It features an extensive decking area, a private fishing pier and floating dock, master bedroom and bath, a kitchen with counter space, full size stove , microwave, refrigerator griddle, an outdoor firepit, and a hammock Set on 2 wooded lots, Eco Cabin is private & secluded. Eco Cabin was built for those who enjoy the rustic atmosphere of nature with amenities in an upscale lodge.

The gorgeous and spacious decking area right at Cape Fear River is the focal point when you enter this beautiful cabin and the scent of trees. The kitchen is spacious and equipped for your basic cooking needs. If you are more of a grill person try our griddle and cook your favorite hibachi recipe or do your special hamburgers and steaks.

The Master Suite is a 'Honeymooner's Dream' with a queen Bed, lodge/pine tree decor, and private balcony. Enjoy the unique Master suite bathroom.

Relax in the spacious decking area by the river surrounded by woods and romantic accent lighting, enjoy your favorite drink by the outdoor fire pit under the trees or on the hammock. Enjoy a game of corn hole while watching the fire, or relax on the private floating dock and enjoy watching the deer & wildlife passing by. Our 2 unit rental is close to WhiteLake and Tory Hole boat landing and nature trail.

For relaxation, peace and tranquility in a beautiful wooded setting surrounded by nature, birds and deer, come to Eco Cabin to reunite and renew with your spouse or that special romantic getaway with your loved one. You won't want to leave this cozy cabin in the woods. This is beautiful Bladen County North Carolina living at it's best.
***LINENS & TOWELS and trash disposal fee are included If you want to bring your own let us know so we can reimburse you ***. Our PET FEE is $50 per pet per stay.
Our guests are expected to LEAVE THE CABIN LIKE YOU FOUND IT.

Perfect river getaway
My husband and I always try and get away to celebrate our birthdays that are in May. This year we chose to do a river fishing trip and Eco cabin was the perfect spot for us. We loved the feel of the 2 units. The deck and dock were perfect for relaxing and doing some fishing. The location was perfect. We went hours without seeing anyone else. We will definitely be returning and bringing our two boys with us next time.

Great place for a weekend getaway.
Clean, well maintained, quiet, comfortable. I had never used VRBO, so I wasn't sure about check-in or check-out...but we did what instructions said. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect getaway
Everything essential was provided. Neat and clean. Surprised by the drive in, dirt/sand road downhill to river, when coming off the main road. Mostly private. One cabin is kitchen, living, bed loft. Second cabin is master bedroom, reading nook and bathroom. Could sleep 6-7 with half being kids. Lied the river view.

Expectations were fufilled, but we had no way to contact the property manager via Vrbo. There should be a contact phone # for issues to be resolved. We had to go back to turn the coffee pot off not knowing when someone comes to check on the place. Loved the property.

Great Little Get Away
This is my third time staying in this cute and quaint cabin. I love fishing off the floating dock. I even enjoyed just sitting there in my chair on the floating dock, reading a book and listening to the wildlife. I will be back. The owners are the sweetest host ever.

Jewel on the Cape Fear
My wife and I were looking for a secluded, serine, and relaxing environment to escape the normal hussle and bustle; boy did we find it! The property and the cabins were under promised and over delivered! Truly the pictures do not do justice. The hosts were attentive, responsive, and wonderful when a slight unforseen problem arose, they were able to fix the issue and have us back up in no time. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and have already booked a return vist to explore their other options on the property! The eco cabin is perfect for couples and I can imagine a small family. We also brough our dog and he was in heaven. Cannot wait to visit again!

Cute little cabin in the woods. We came here for a weekend getaway, so we could be alone, fish and enjoy some quality time in nature. The good: 1. The cabin sits a top the river bank & has easy access to the river. 2. There is plenty space on the property to enjoy the outdoors. A beautiful deck area, a fire pit area, a hammock, outdoor games (Cornhole, etc). 3. The cabin was very cozy for a couple or a small family. 4. The guest towels were new & soft. Better than what you get at top rated resorts in most instances. We really appreciated that. 5. There were several things the owners left at the property for guest to use & to make their stay more comfortable. Again very much appreciated these details. The areas for improvement: 1. The cabin rules state that the person staying must do the cabin cleaning before leaving. Over all we felt it could be cleaner. I would recommend hiring a professional cleaning crew to give it a deep cleaning. 2. Bring bottled water for cooking, coffee, dining ect. The water had a slight sulphur smell & bit of discoloration. 3. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt as though it was the mattress used on an adjustable bed before it was transferred to the cabin here. There was a permanent crease/break along the width of the mattress (again probably from an adjustable base). It made for a very unpleasant night. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

My husband, the furbabies, and I spent 9 wonderful days by the river. We got a kick out of watching the fish jump out of the water with a loud plop--leaving concentric circles rippling from shore-to-shore. The area is beautiful, and the owners are super nice! Loved it! Could have stayed all summer.

Wrong Impression
Granted we stayed in a cabin, but there were bugs, ants on counters. We had to put everything in fridge or microwave. There were dead bugs by bedside and bathroom sink and kitchen sink. The bathroom was not attached to main cabin, had to walk outside and through main bedroom. If we had guests that would have been very awkward. Considering bathroom door was nailed shut so couldnt open from outside. We wouldnt stay here again.
