"We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights in March. Lovely and modern inside with lots of kitchen gadgets and basics. Living room was comfortable. We only used the main bedroom and the bed was comfortable for us. Good wardrobe size and plenty of hangers. For anyone worried about parking we found on street parking easily, so don't let this put you off. Helpful guest book with restaurants, local shop and other useful information. "We had a lovely stay at Galtons Cottage. Beautiful weather on the Saturday led to a long walk in Holt Heath and a stop at the small farm shop. The house was so warm and comfortable, it was easy to stay in on the windy and rainier Sunday. The hot tub was great too!"

"The best definition of value I have ever heard is “the difference between you you thought you were getting and what you got” this sadly was a very wide gap. "We stayed in this lovely barn to have a very belated Christmas with friends who live nearby. The barn is very comfortable, warm and cozy.However the kitchen does not do the rest of the property justice. It is dated with a worn cooker and a tiny built-in fridge that is in poor condition. " The George Hotel & Granary 5 Market Pl, Frome BA11 1AF Pub Clare 281 points 6 hours agoSpent a night at this lovely hotel with my two daughters in a family room. Hotel is in a great location, right in the town centre. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful cobbled streets with many lovely little eclectic, independent shops in which you could spend many happy hours pottering! When we arrived we were greeted by Wayne who instantly made us feel very welcome. He couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and during dinner, which we had in the hotel restaurant, he couldn't do enough for us. Lots of great banter too! The food was delicious and incredibly good value. Our room, no 28, was very spacious, loads of room for bags etc, overlooking the road to the front, but there was absolutely no noise from outside. The bar and restaurant area are really nice with a lovely, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is only a ten minute drive to Longleat and the Aqua Sana Spa. There is secure parking behind the hotel. Really can't fault anything about our stay. Can't recommend highly enough. "
