This is probably the worst valued hotel I have ever stayed in.
I was in Drumheller over the weekend to celebrate my nieces engagement, and I was with my wife and young son. Even though the Ramada was twice the price of any of the other hotels in Drumheller, I chose it, because it had a pool with a waterslide, breakfast, and we wanted a separate bedroom.
First thing we're told is that the pool was out of commission, which greatly disappointed my son, who couldn't stop talking about it on the way there. Discount on room? nope.
Secondly, we turn on the TV, and it won't work. Turns out it was unplugged. EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM WAS UNPLUGGED. Lights, TV, clock, everything. Who does that??
Then the toilet paper in the bathroom was the cheapest single ply toilet paper I've ever seen. I've seen better toilet paper in a roadside gas station in Mexico. $300/night for single ply paper?
Then, the toilet is plugged. Clearly not from the cheap toilet paper. I call the front desk, and it rings and rings and rings and rings. In fact, I put the phone down and let it ring for over 30 minutes. I finally had to track down a housekeeper and ask for a plunger. $300/night, and I'm plunging my own toilet.
WHAT THE HELL WAS I PAYING FOR?????
