We booked to stay at the Dolphin Apartments for 4 nights in an Executive Apartment. When we got our room, it was filthy, had hardly any cutlery or crockery, and was dingy.
After much deliberation we decided to talk to the front desk and told them we wanted to check out and get our money back. They swiftly offered us another room which was a little better - at least it was clean!
Whilst this is advertised as an Apartment, there was very limited cutlery/crockery and no microwave which made it hard with two young kids.
I would say this is more of a hotel than apartment.
The location is great for the 'Little India' of Dubai, but other than that, we were really not impressed.
This property is advertised as a 3* or 4* depending on which website you look at, although we would rate it no more than a 2.5*.
The front desk were unresponsive in providing answers to simple questions, e.g., we asked 4 times if they could/would provide a baby cot and each time were told that they would get back to us, which they never did. After the fourth time of asking, I gave up as I would have probably given them a piece of my mind and ended up in a jail overnight!
Again, the location is great, but if you stay here please don't arrive with any reasonable expectations. I would certainly not stay here again.
