Unfortunately it was a very bad stay. I was woken up at 2:10am by someone trying to get in my room. I told them they had the wrong room. Ten minutes later again, I told them to go away, wrong room. I just started to fall asleep and my room phone rings and the front desk asks me who I was??? The person that checked me in didn’t acknowledge the room as taken. Apparently I found out later the second disturbance was Hotel Security and they didn’t tell me that. Notwithstanding it’s now 3:00am and I could not fall asleep again. I had an early flight and was very tired for my upcoming 6 hour flight. I mentioned this to the front desk when I checked out and got a oh well, sorry. Needless to say I’m not very happy and will reconsider where I stay next time I’m travelling. I want Expedia to get me a refund from Detroit Marriott.
