「The room was fine except when we arrived the heater had been turned up to 90 degrees and was too hot. We had to use the AC in the winter to cool the room off. 」

「The heater in the room we were first assigned could not be regulated and the room was too hot. We were moved to another room which was better, but a mouse ran over the cabinet while we were watching TV. It left again through the gap under the entry door, which we then blocked off with a towel. A bit unsettling.」

「The bed was so comfy. Breakfast was a delish 3 course meal. Staff was very attentive. Beautiful piece of property also.」

「The room with jacuzzi tub was great. The room has a good view of the river. Everything was clean and updated. The only bad thing was we could hear our neighbors next store snoring through the wall in our bedroom which made it difficult to sleep. 」

「Jack and Becky are warm and welcoming. The barn is close to many attractions near the lake. Guests live downstairs and the owners upstairs. The breakfast and cat are great. The room and the whole barn are all wood, very stylish and interesting for city people like me. There is also an interesting heart-shape bathtub without the above-head showing faucet.」

「The location was perfect and we loved the architecture/woodwork of the home. Lots of space heaters throughout home to keep us warm on a cold weekend. Beds were super comfortable. Nice touch with the coffees and snacks left for us.」

「The location of this property is great. You can walk to many of the attractions. If you are sensitive to cats this would not be a place to stay. Two cats live in the property. Cats are not in the rooms but they are allowed to roam the property in the middle of the night. One enjoyed letting us know he/she was up and wanted some company early in the morning. Communication with the host was very good. There could have been a little more offered for breakfast, There was coffee, tea, juice, yogurt...
