"I had some meetings in Calaca and decided to stay the night in Canyon Woods. I was not expecting much from previous reviews and I was surely IMPRESSED with what I saw. Check In was very efficient with knowledgeable staff. The room itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning which is a must was strong and cool. The best thing about this hotel is the view during sunrise. You get a glimpse of the sun with the Taal Lake as your background. The breakfast was plated but...

"The resort was private and very tranquil. I appreciate how they’ve tied in nature to all surroundings. Property was well kept! The caretaker of the cave was amazing and very knowledgeable. "

"I reserved a newly renovated room via Expedia but the other room did not look renovated. The carpets were the same. Bedsheets look old. The reason why we always go back to Manila Hotel is the ambiance at the foyer. I really hope when we come back they give us a true newly renovated room. "
